Cold Weekend on the Farm

It is definitely winter in the Texas Panhandle this weekend!  We have had freezing rain and temperatures for a couple of days.

I’ll be honest, it is nice to have this cold weather since this winter has been abnormally warm.  I will not complain having to sit at home drinking coffee or hot chocolate while watching a movie with freezing temperatures outside.  I love the cold weather!

Today, the cows needed to be fed some hay, so Rodney went to work to make the cows happy!

Side note: Ranching is in my families blood and has been for many generations.  Needless to say, the cows have a special place in my heart.  I enjoy feeding them and always love seeing a new calf.  They make my heart happy!

Ice that is frozen on trees reminds me of Gods beauty.  It is so simple, but absolutely beautiful at the same time.
