Christmas is my favorite time of year.  For me, family is a major part of the season. Fortunately, there are many family members that live in close proximity of each other here below the caprock.

The Fuston ladies came together for the second annual “Fuston Ladies Christmas” in December.  We enjoyed each others company, catching  up, and having a merry ole time together.  This has become a warm and loving tradition for all of us.

I married into an incredible family.  They have welcomed me with open arms, and I will always be grateful for the love and encouragement they given me and to each other.

This years theme was “Hot Cocoa and Cookies.”  We had a hot cocoa bar full of marshmallows, mint chocolate chips, peppermints and much more.  The hot cocoa was creamy and rich just like the one from the Polar Express-that is where I got the recipe.

All the ladies brought a plate of their favorite cookies.  We had all kinds of delicious treats (many would eventually be shared with our husbands.)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and was able to enjoy it with their family.
