Hash

This recipe is a great way to eat leftover roast.  My husband says each time he eats it, that it is better than the roast itself.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. butter

  • 1 small onion

  • Leftover roast with veggies

  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup leftover gravy or beef broth

  • 2 slices of toast

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in pan over medium high heat.  Dice onion and cook with butter until translucent.

  2. Combine leftover roast with veggies and add cream of mushroom soup.

  3. Salt and Pepper to taste

  4. Add leftover gravy or beef broth

  5. Stir until warm.

  6. Toast 2 slices of bread

  7. Pour hash over toast.

This is not the prettiest meal, but it sure makes up for it’s look by its taste. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family has for many years.
